As the Seasons Change, So Do I

As the leaves change and the air becomes cooler fall is just around the corner. From chili cooking on the stove to curling up watching a spooky movie, fall has always been my all-time favorite season.

In the past, I’ve never really understood the hype about fall, besides the fact that it is the season my birthday is in. It’s always just been another season that hasn’t really affected my mood or my behavior. Just a season where it isn’t strange to drink pumpkin spice, go to a football game on Friday and a haunted house on Saturday but also wear shorts in the day and layers at night. Just another season.

Not this year! This year I’m taking in all of God’s amazing creation while slowing down my life to truly focus on the good.

This year fall is going to mean more. It’ll be a season for growth but also a season for family and friends. Fall has always made my family and friends grow closer to me, whether it’s over a cup of coffee or at the dinner table on Thanksgiving.

This year I’ll slow down by finding a chill playlist or cozying up by the fire. Slowing down by taking the time to go out of my way to make someone’s day good (you should do the same).

This year, make a certain season of your life different from the rest! Don’t let it be just another season of life that won’t mean much.

Even the smallest of changes means improvement…

Til next time,

Busy Bee ❤

Fall is my favorite season to relax and do everything I love with my family and friends!! I too love God and His creations, and it just seems like everything is so much more beautiful during this time of year.

It’s my birthday season, too! I love fall, but I’m really grateful the last home football game is over. Too much to do as the new Yearbook Adviser!
